On our summer trip to Arizona, we visited Goldfield, a ghost town and former gold mine located at the far eastern edge of the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is situated at the foot of the Superstition Mountain, home of the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine and the subject of countless legends.
