Cynthia 'Shay' visited her family in Taipei this June. In an American-style mall (called 'Breeze Plaza') there was this what we think have to be the most luxurious public bathroom in the city, complete with chandelier and HDTV in the mirror wall. It may not be surprising then to know Taipei also has one of the tallest buildings in the world, called Taipei 101, as well as one of the most modern train systems, with signs in both English and Chinese. Train takers are very well behaved and all line up according to the arrows (on platform), both entering and exiting the train.
