Mitsubishi contract

Note: The following information has not been independently confirmed by News 25. Union officials said, by agreement, neither they nor the company would comment while negotiations wee ongoing.

MITSUBISHI outlined their offer to the rank and file
today in a written offer. A 33% reduction in pay.
Cease company match 401K contribution. Elimination of retirement funding. Along with other cuts. There also will be increases in major medical co-pays.
These concessions are offered after members narrowly voted cuts earlier.
It seems that mitsu has still refused to take responsibility for their past mistakes. The FUSO/MITSU scandal, poor lending practices, and late launch of gas saving vehicle.
They have left the company open for failure and laid it in the union members lap.
If the company is to succeed they need new models to be built in Normal.
The bottom line is they need to promote and sell their products. This is something that the members can't do for them. It is time to trim the top. Mitsubishi rank and file employees have given enough. Mitsubishi alone is responsible for their market position. Maybe they will make better decisions at their Russian plant. Unfortunately the working class will be at fault again. NICE
