Monarch caterpillar

Henry-Senachwine Raises a Monarch

This is the second year our K-5 cross-categorical class has found Monarch caterpillars on milkweed plants at Henry-Senachwine Grade School. We have taken the caterpillar inside to watch. It formed a chrysalis and in approximately 2 weeks we had a new Monarch butterfly. Our class then released the Monarch outside to fly away.
