Bundled and Ready for Snow!

Let It Snow!

At 7 a.m. this morning my three children ran into my room screaming and yelling. I flew out of bed thinking something was wrong, someone was hurt. It turned the excitement had been caused by the two inches of snow we had covering the ground. In a flash all three kids were dressed and ready to play in the snow. There was one major problem... we hadn't had a chance to buy new snow gear (boots, pants, gloves, etc). After calming everyone down to eat breakfast, the kids were able to sweat-talk their dad into making the twenty minute drive into Peoria to get new snow attire, among other things. It took a long and agonizing two hours before my husband was back with the pants and boots. The wait was well worth it, the children spent all afternoon in the snow making snow angels, plowing the drive way with their toys, and most importantly making the first snow man of the year.

The pictures shows Cauge (age 5) Cainan (age 4) and Caylor (age 2) ready for the snow in Camp Grove.
