A dog will endure anything for a piece of bologna

Santa, I've been good. I promise.

Little Max has a dreamy look in his eye, because he's staring at a morsel of bologna. It makes the dreaded Christmas sweater worth it. Max is a 4-1/2 year old maltese owned by the Bankes family of rural Lewistown. He's trying to be good for Santa, but it's hard, doggonit! Happy Howlidays!

Thanks, Jeanne. Who could tell that sometimes he's naughty and sometimes he's nice! He looks so innocent.
