My Mom painted this picture and displays it annually in her yard, to illustrate the busy, secular world pausing in reverence of the true meaning of Christmas. Mom suffered a stroke a few years ago that almost took her life. Now, her spirit shines more brightly than ever, and all of her children, family, and friends cherish her, and her artwork, more than ever, too. As with this picture, Mom has always reminded us what is truly important, and she does so through her talents and love. For those reasons, this painting is our most touching "Sight of the Season" by far! (Mom's name is Christine Shipman, and this is her Park Avenue home in Pekin.) Thank you sincerely for your consideration.
