I was in Chillocothe this morning down by the river watching this eagle in flight when it decided to land on the ice. He sat there for several minutes before deciding it was time to take off. It is such a beautiful sight to see them take off and fly.

WOW ! Great shot...look in the back ground ....The Ice rings on the trees are really cool too. You must have great equipment to pull this in. I was out today with my 100mm-400mm but I couldn't get close enough to get a good shot sharp enough to crop
