After leading 4-1 in the 10th Annual International Silver Sticks Tournament in Pelham, Ontario the Kingston Canadians were able to come back and pull even with the Pekin Dragons 4-4 with 1.03 seconds remaining in the game. It looked like the game was heading to overtime with momentum on the Canadian's side until a face off took place with 22.4 seconds remaining in the game. Pekin's Zachary Cox wins the face off sending the puck back to Brenden Petty manning the left point. Brenden holds the puck momentarily to let the forwards move to the net and then unleashs a shot that had all of Pekin's hopes and dreams riding on it. The puck made it to the goalie but not into the net but Tyler Kuhn was waiting on the doorstep and drove the rebound in for a 5-4 Dragons lead. The clock read 20.4 seconds left in the game and the Pekin fans in attendance lose their minds.
