My mom works on base in Peoria, so when she told my daughter the president was coming she begged to go to work with her. As soon as she opened her eyes yesterday morning, she jumped up and said, "I have to color a picture for Obama." She colored in the car on the way to school then finished on base while waiting for Obamas arrival. When Obama arrived she held the picture up high, he saw her, shook her hand, asked her if she made it then told her it was beautiful and that he would keep it. Obama then folded it and placed it in his pocket. It was an amazing experience for my daughter. She is still talking about it and telling everyone she thinks he will hang it on his refrigerator.
