Please help us! Vote for Mr. & Mrs. Claus. During the season, Denny & Sharon Johnston play the rolls of Mr. & Mrs. Claus. They literally have hundreds of children on Santa’s lap. Many of these children speak of their dreams and certainly of the toy that they wish to receive. Many speak of their family’s hard times. How, in some cases, all that they wish for is for Mommy & Daddy to get along together or stop fighting. It’s a reality of uncertain economical times. The tragedies of our society, spill out and onto the lap of Santa and the arms of Mrs. Claus. It takes a toll both mentally and physically on them both.
So why would we ever qualify for a Caribbean Vacation; only for a moment of rest, a moment to remember ourselves, a moment to enjoy the warm Caribbean Sun, a moment to remember the love seen in so many little eyes, a moment to remember the warmth that Christmas can be and should be to everyone.
Our friends certainly thought that we were nuts when they came over to video us. Even if we do not win over your vote and win this contest, perhaps we will have brought a smile to your face. You know something, that’s what Santa and Mrs. Clause are all about, bringing smiles and reminding people of the wonderful gift that we all have been already given.
