QQ Games is a game "plug-in" associated with AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), only it's not fun anymore. The games are great, addictive, colorful, easy to play, and very entertaining, it's the company that I worry about. I, personally, am singled out by moderators and one of them in particular, QQ-MISSCLAUSE, prefers to ignore everything and do as little as possible. The chain is more or less: players see a problem, report it to a Moderator, if the moderator fails, report it to admins at QQAbuse. What actually happens is that player sees a problem, reports the problem, gets ignored and if the player raises a fuss about the issue the actual reporting player gets an 8 hour ban, yes, a ban from the games, blocking them from getting into any room of any game and playing all together, just for saying, "Hey QQ, this person is a problem." Why? I guess they just don't want to deal with anything. QQ-MissClause has banned me on four different occasions, every single time I was guilty of only reporting multiple violations. And just tonight, she threatened to again, so I reported to the other moderator who was on and left posts in the forum saying that she's banning me for telling "the problem" to leave me alone. I never fought, I never swore, I asked a question in the chat and then told the problem that I wasn't addressing him and to leave me be. So when her co-worker stepped in she told MissClause to stop accessing my account and let her handle it, as I called it a conflict of interest, and QQ-GoGoGurl, who was the second moderator online, was receiving the chat logs from me, both from the main chat and my personal messaging with MISSCLAUSE. In the middle another big problem in the game began speaking to me, along the lines of, "It's a game, why do you care so much." I answered him to the effect of it being a game doesn't make it ok for the moderators to ignore the problems, play favourites with the trouble makers and get by with it and told him to not get in the middle of what he was not involved in. The guy continued to pick a fight so I repeated in the chat, "HARRASSMENT" to get their attention. Instead of looking into my claim, QQ-MISSCLAUSE muted my account, making it so that I may play but not speak at all in game. How very backwards their little system is.
And when I speak of problems, I speak of disgusting sexual and racist conversations. This game is suppose to be "family oriented." Filters are built in so that you can't say words like: fuck, nigger/nigga, shit, and various others. Yet all day, and all night, players get around the filters by alternative spellings: Nicca, Niqqer, Nigg3r, Shyt, sht, shitt and the like. I see adults with a listed age of 21+ having sexually explicit conversations with young teens with an age of 16 and below. And granted, all we have to go by are listed ages and pictures, pictures which seem to confirm age gaps in which they should not engage in these conversations. Meanwhile, the "moderators" say absolutely nothing about it. Even if it's a family game and the conversations are age inappropriate as well as against the TOS.
I beg parents to look into this very popular QQ Games and know what your children are doing, and how little is being done for them, as I am 23 and know how to report and do things the right way and I still get no response to my reports. It's sad when you have to become a trouble maker to get attention that is promised by the services own TOS (Terms of Service).
