SLOW DOWN

Parents of Lincoln School have done everything they can to slow down cars on Springfield Rd, East Peoria Police now patrol the area on a frequent basis and are doing a wonderful job when they can be present. BRAND NEW lighting system in 2009 were erected to alert drivers to slow down to the posted 20mph when children are present, but people still think it is safe to travel 15-25 mph over posted speed limit when small children are present, please people slow down and you may save a life in the future.......The video was taken right before the lighting system was installed, but drivers ignore lights and ignore state laws governing school zones. Maybe we need tougher fines in school zones?
