Peoria Speedway will be Racing Once again on Memorial Day - May 25 after the Saturday May 16 Flooding of the Quarter Mile Dirt Track on Farmington Road in Peoria. The Flood Waters are Gone and Clean-Up by Track Crews and Fans are Nearly Completed as of Thursday - May 21, Says Track Owner & Promoter Sherrie Hamilton. Pit Gates will Open at 3:30 p.m. on Monday with GrandStand Gates Opening at 4;30 and Stock Car Racing with the Late Models - Modifieds - Limited Late Models - Pro Street Stocks & Hornet Street Stock Divisions to Begin at 6 p.m. on Memorial Day. I am so glad to hear that the track is finally open!! I was hoping it wouldn't be closed for too long.
