Wall Cloud over The Illinois River at Havana

June 19th storm at Havana

Took these pictures of the wall cloud moving through Havana June 19th. We thought a tornado maybe in it! I love taking storm pics. This one was one of the cooler ones I've every taken!

We had winds up to 65 miles per hour that storm but you are probably right. I just labeled that because that was what the people around me were calling it. Thank you for correcting.

The pictures are not of a wall cloud. What you saw was a shelf cloud, which generally form along squall lines/lines of storms, and are highly suggestive of highwinds, which a lot of folks saw.
