When we were at the St. Louis Zoo in June 2009, Kayla (2 years old) fell and bumped her head on the pavement. After much consoling, we asked her if she would like some ice cream. Of course, that got her to stop crying and actually smiling again. Ice cream works wonders on those booboos that kids seem to always have.

The third picture was taken of Kayla at the Sugar Creek Art Festival in Normal on July 11, 2009. What better way to pass the time than with a good ice cream cone with sprinkles? It can make anything that's not exactly kid friendly fun!
