We adopted Ernie, a rat terrier mix, from TAPS just 2 days before Thanksgiving. It was his beautiful pleading eyes that got everyone of us when we saw him. He's the perfect companion to each member of our family, never showing favoritism to any one member.

Ernie is always eager to please and as such has taken well to training. He loves to go on walks and car rides and he's happy just to sit quietly too. He loves to do tricks like twirl in the air and jump through hoops. He's always happy to show off for anyone. It is evident that he is greatful for a happy home and we are greatful to be able to provide that home for him. We aren't sure how our lives existed before he came along.
