Tassels~n~Toes, an American Tribal Style Dance group from Peoria, will be hosting a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at Double D's Ice Creme (1434 N. 8th St, Pekin) on Saturday, August 29, 2009, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Come support "Tal's Tribe" and help raise money for the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, to be held Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Glen Oak Park in Peoria. Enjoy performances by Tassels~n~Toes while snacking on your favorite Double D's treats! A portion of the sales from 2-4 will be donated to JDRF. Private donations will also be accepted.
