We live pretty close to the Illinois river. Close enough to see the water from our drive way. We always see a lot of birds in the sky, especially migratory birds. I stepped out our backdoor this morning and spotted a very large blue heron in my neighbor's backyard. It sat there for about 5 minutes and let me get a couple shots of him.
