Weeks ago we had made plans to meet friends from Australia in Chicago this weekend, having no idea what the weather conditions would be. It was a perfect day for walking along Navy Pier, taking a boat ride along the Chicago shore, and taking photos of the skyline from the Ferris wheel. We hope our "mates" will go home with visions of a sunny, blue skied, Illinois.
