Jake was adopted 12 weeks ago from a rescue. His mother abandoned her pups when they were only four weeks old. This will be Jake's first Halloween (or should I say Howl-o-Ween) and he wasn't shy smiling for the camera. (However, he isn't too crazy about his bandana). The gords and mini pumpkins in the picture - he gnawed the stems off of them and pulled them out of our pumpkin patch. I guess it seems rather natural for a Beagle have an attraction to a pumpkin patch around Halloween. :)
