My husband was fishing at Evergreen Lake near Hudson, Illinois this afternoon and happened to capture this eagle atop a dead tree among the beautiful fall landscape.

Saw an eagle fly over Interstste 39 near Kappa this morning, I bet it's the same bird or part of the same family. Somewhat rare around here. Great to see!
