Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, will be in Peoria tomorrow. His statement in the New York Times that there might not be theater in Peoria and if there is, it couldn't compare to Chicago got Suzette Boulais and Kathy Chitwood fired up.

Suzette Boulais, Arts Partners, and Kathy Chitwood, Eastlight Theater, invited him to Central Illinois to see that we do have theater.

He will visit Eastlight Theater Friday night to see Rent. Rent was part of the Eastlight Theater 2009 Season shows. They are doing another performance for him on Friday.

This picture was painted by 3 artists on the windows at East Peoria High School where Rocco will attend the play.

ROCCO -N. IT PLAYS IN PEORIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
