Mariah and Matthew Simpkins attended the Saturday evening performance of the Peoria Ballet Nutcracker. It was Matthews first ballet. His favorite part was the scene with the snow. Mariah said it was the best day of her life as she watched her Uncle Ariel dance in the first act. Arriving early, they ran up and down the stairs for fun. Staying attentive throughout the ballet, they both left exhausted and fell asleep on the drive home.
