GoodGuys Tour 2007 w/ Central Illinois Cruisers Cruise-In

Central Illinois Cruisers

Huge Cruise-In in East Peoria hosted by the Central Illinois Cruisers, featured The GoodGuys Tour 2007 to East Peoria. 300+ hot rods. Huge event brought to the area thanks to Chuck McCarty of the Central Illinois Cruisers!

Many of the GoodGuys came from all over including one guy from Hawaii who flew his car over for the tour, and another guy from Australia, which costed him $4,000.00 to have his car boated over here for the Tour! We had 300+ cars at the Cruise-In and had 2 cars that came across seas for the event, which made the Central Illinois Cruisers Cruise-In the biggest Cruise-In in the mid-west! Thanks to those who helped in sponsoring the event: Gary Uftring, Gary McCormick, Terry Waldschmidt, Mayor of East Peoria Dave Mingus & Central Illinois Cruisers! Thanks to all our members who helped with the event!

The GoodGuys Tour Cruisers felt extremly welcomed by everyone and couldn't believe all the cars that came for the cruise-in they said they have never been treated so well! They will have a article in their National GoodGuys Magazine along with photos! The Central Illinois Cruisers did a great thing for the community and brought in a lot of people from all over the world to East Peoria, we hope to have them again next year!

(We thought for sure this event would make the news but it didn't and we had asked 2x for it to be considered and everyone was pretty disappointed that an event this big in the area didn't make the news, please consider this and if you need more pics or info I have plenty to share so please let me know!) The event was held on Monday July 9th 2-10pm, and yes a ton of people took the day off to get there early for a good spot and to be there for this event that shows how big this was!
