The Concordia Lutheran School boys’ basketball team took sixth place in the state Lutheran Schools’ basketball tournament held in Arlington Heights this past weekend.
“We are so proud of our students,” said Tom Kahn, principal of Concordia Lutheran, “Not just for the strong performance they gave on the court, but more importantly for the fine Christian values they demonstrated throughout the weekend. These kids worked hard to get to State and although they stayed
focused on their sport, they didn’t let their schoolwork or family relationships suffer.”
One parent said it best when she noticed how many Concordia fans traveled to the tournament. “Concordia is truly a family,” Mr. Kahn continued. “And those who couldn’t make it to the game were Facebooking,
texting and cheering them on from Peoria.”
Concordia Lutheran School has been providing top-ranked academics in a nurturing environment for more than 50 years. They will be holding an Open House at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 14th for prospective
families.
