Tornado right after it passed our Edwards home, just between I-74 and Route 150. Damaged trees and tossed things around the yard, but no serious damage.

These are pictures of the initial storm that moved through the area causing damage from Elmwood to Metamora. These were taken outside our home in Edwards, just outside of Peoria. I don't think it touched down by us, but we saw the swirling and it had the intense winds that damaged some trees and tossed some things around the yard (bird house, wheel barrow, etc.). It was such a strange site to see rain going one direction and then all of a sudden, it would go another direction! It was the most intense storm I've ever experienced!
