The excitement was there and the countdown was on for the opening of the 61st HOI Fair. The ribbon cutting ceremony was at 4p.m. July 9.

Miss Heart of Illinois, Kristy Maag, and Miss Hear of Illinois Outstanding Teen, Aleigha Welty, were there for the opening.
