This hummingbird would come to the porch feeder to eat and then would plop down on the japanese maple right underneath it, like it was too full to fly! I've never seen a hummingbird perch so casually. The bluebird liked to sit in the honey locust tree and drop down on the grass to catch bugs. I had just put my first bluebird house out two weeks before we spotted him, and was thrilled to have an occupant so soon!

Naturally beautiful!
