We purchased this rabbit as a 4-H project for my daughter and were told his name was Hippy due to a hip problem he had when he was born. He is in perfect health now and so when we brought him home we kept the name but changed the meaning to Hippie---a fun loving tie dye flower child kind of rabbit and what do you know the name fits,
